The Beginning: 2021 Back-to-School Drive
In the summer of 2021, our team embarked on a mission to support girls in Jamaica who face significant barriers to education due to financial constraints. Recognizing the critical need for school supplies and personal products, we launched our first back-to-school drive. Through generous donations from supporters and volunteers, we were able to pack and send several barrels filled with essential supplies to a partnering ministry that distributed supplies to Pringles Girls Home and girls in need at Carron Hall High School in Jamaica.Impact and Outreach
The impact of our 2021 drive was profound. We reached girls in need who often lack access to basic educational resources. Each barrel delivered not only school supplies such as notebooks, pens, and backpacks, bibles but also personal hygiene products that alleviate the financial burden on families. The smiles on the faces of these girls as they received their supplies spoke volumes about the hope and encouragement our initiative brought to their lives.
Building on Success: 2022 Expansion
Bolstered by the success and impact of our inaugural drive, we expanded our efforts in 2022. With even greater community support and organizational partnerships, we packed and shipped additional barrels to serve more girls across Jamaica. This time, our drive increased hygiene products that promote health, well-being, and personal development among the girls.
